Artistic Director General of the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona (Spain). In 2012 she was the first Director General of the Royal Opera House Muscat (Oman), the first of its kind in the Gulf Region. From 2002 to 2012 she was Director of Artistic Operations at Washington National Opera, where she worked in close collaboration with General Director Plácido Domingo.
Before that, she held similar posts at the San Francisco Opera and the Gran Teatro La Fenice (Venice). She is a Commendatore in the Order of the Star of Solidarity, an honor bestowed by the Italian government.
