Trained at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et Danse in Paris, where he won first prize for piano, he has appeared as a soloist at venues like New York’s Carnegie Hall, La Scala in Milan or the Berlin Philharmonic Hall, and major events like Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, the Proms or the Edinburgh and Salzburg festivals. A membre of Ensemble Intercontemporain since 1992, his repertoire ranges from Bach to contemporary composers. He has worked with Iannis Xenakis, Luciano Berio, Karlheinz Stockhausen, György Kurtàg and Pierre Boulez.
