Dolores Albarracin is Alexandra Heyman Nash Penn Integrates Knowledge University Professor at the University of Pennsylvania. Her research centers on attitudes and persuasion, the intention-behavior relation, goals, predicting general activity patterns, predicting and changing health risk behaviors, and reviewing the effects of behavioral and clinical treatments. Author of over 170 articles and book chapters in the realm of psychology and health, her two latest books are Creating Conspiracy Beliefs: How Our Thoughts Are Shaped and Action and Inaction in a Social World: Predicting and Changing Attitudes and Behavior. A former editor of Psychological Bulletin, her distinctions include the 2020 Carol and Ed Diener Award in Social Psychology from the Society for Personality and Social Psychology and the 2019 Avant Garde Award of the National Institute of Drug Abuse.
