Fabrizio Zilibotti is the Tuntex Professor of International and Development Economics at Yale University. A former Chair of Macroeconomics and Political Economy at the University of Zurich and Professor of Economics at University College London, his research focuses on economic growth and development, political economy, macroeconomics, and the economic development of China. He is a past president of the European Economic Association, and a Fellow of the Econometric Society and the Centre for Economic Policy Research. His various honors include the Sun Yefang Award of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, for the paper “Growing Like China,” and the Yrjö Jahnsson Award of the European Economic Association. He has served as co-editor of Econometrica, chief editor of the Journal of the European Economic Association, and managing editor of the Review of Economic Studies.
