His research interest are inmacroeconomics, development economics, economic growth and economics and politics.
Banco de España Visiting Professor at CREI (Pompeu Fabra University) in 2009 and 2010, he is currently co-editor of the Journal of Development Economics and associate editor of the Review of Economic Statistics and Journal of Economic Growth.
