James Meade Professor of Economics at the University of Oxford (United Kingdom), Professorial Fellow at Nuffield College Oxford, and Research Professor at Johns Hopkins University (United States). His research ranges over social norms and institutions, game theory, taxation and cost allocation, political representation and theories of distributive justice. He is a recipient of the George Hallett Award from the American Political Science Association, and is a Fellow of both the British Academy and the Econometric Society.
