Roberto Colom is Professor of Differential Psychology at the Autonomous University of Madrid (UAM). Listed on the Ranking of World Scientists: Top 2% Scientists drawn up by Stanford University (United States), he has authored or edited more than 20 books, both technical and popular, and has published over one hundred and fifty scientific articles focusing on the psychometric analysis of intelligence and related psychological factors, its cognitive foundations and its biological basis, primarily via the application of innovative neuroimaging research tools. Colom has also conducted applied research in such domains as mental disability, crime behavior, and personnel selection. He is a member of the International Society for Intelligence Research (ISIR) and sits on the editorial boards of the publications Intelligence and Journal of Intelligence.
